Mozilla AI
Established a global HR presence enabling the hire of individuals world-wide; Designed and implemented interview process and associated technology, enabling >250% headcount growth in 5 months while working fractionally.
Octane
Built a metrics-based approach and added structure around Talent Acquisition practices, reducing time to hire from 87 days to 31 days while scaling the company >500% in 3.5 years. Developed programs for Performance Management, Succession Planning, & Management Training. Designed, implemented, and led project TurboHIRE during which we hired 50 full stack software engineers from entry to staff level, along with managers and directors in 16 weeks without sacrificing quality; 26% of those hires were from underrepresented groups.
ZestFinance (now ZestAI)
Recruited by the Founder after Series A to bring staffing in-house from agencies. Built candidate pipeline from ground floor & grew company >800%. Designed & implemented recruiting strategies to 5X diversity hires & achieve university recruiting goal; Developed & implemented programs to promote & enhance Zest’s recruitment brand, culture & diversity both internally & externally, resulting in 6 awards including Fortune’s “Best Workplaces for Women” & Fortune’s “Best Medium Workplaces.”; Developed & implemented talent management programs that ensure the professional development of all staff through the identification of high potential employees & tailored individual development plans.
Primary Venture Partners' Portfolio
Provided thought & operational leadership to emerging, growth stage portfolio companies in the areas of recruiting, compensation, organizational development, culture creation & retention program development. Developed and delivered behavior-based interview training to multiple portfolio companies, resulting in improved interview efficiency and quality of hire. Portfolio exits include: Reonomy’s acquisition by the Altus Group, Handshake’s acquisition by Shopify, FieldLens’ acquisition by WeWork, and Routehappy’s acquisition by ATPCO.
Developed, executed & oversaw engineering staffing strategy & managed recruiting team for NY, Boston & Pittsburgh offices after successfully leading increase in Santa Monica staff from 40 to 400. Led cross-functional efforts to integrate DoubleClick across four sites (e.g., largest acquisition to date). Designed & streamlined recruiting, resulting in lower time to hire & increased employee participation. Created & deployed several international process & policy changes including recruiter training, event sourcing process, & message delivery.
